Something everyone says: “my mother shops at TANGS”. Mine does too, and that’s how I was introduced to the store as a little kid. I used to follow her around the beauty hall where she would buy powder at the Estée Lauder counter. Today, she still does that, though her repertoire of beauty brands has expanded because of my work editing beauty. While mom still makes her way down to the Orchard Road store to purchase her items, I like to order mine online; and I’m pleased that I can find almost every beauty brand in TANGS on their webstore. It makes stocking up on my essentials (shu uemura cleansing oil!) a lot more convenient. Also, ask anyone in the NYLON team — the TANGS site is a great reference for the prices of many beauty products.

When did the beauty webstore open?

The TANGS eStore was launched in 2012 with a selection of (mostly) beauty offerings, and thereafter the new TANGS.com was re-launched on 1 November 2015 with an expanded selection of Beauty, Fashion, Home and Lifestyle offerings, as well as other new and improved features.
