If you’re someone who’s addicted to slightly dependent on that daily serving of sparkling white wine, it must be difficult going about your day without a glass of Prosecco right at your fingertips. Well, Groupon is now attempting to recreate the feel and taste of that literally at your fingertips with its new Prosecco-flavoured nail polish.

This sparkly yellow nail polish embodies the bubbly in all its fizzy glory, right down to its smell and taste. In fact, it’s actually infused with real Prosecco, and though the company claims you can lick the polish to get a taste, we wouldn’t recommend that – especially not in public. Yup, it’s bizarre and completely unnecessary. However, this isn’t the first we’ve heard of edible nail polish. A year ago, KFC created their own nail polish, and that one tastes just like – yeah, you guessed it – Kentucky fried chicken.

Before you get too excited about this product, the Prosecco polish is only available in the U.K. as a special release for Mother’s Day, so you won’t find this online or in store anywhere else in the world. Props to Groupon for creating something this playful to celebrate the holiday, but we all know our mums would prefer to sip on actual Prosecco than lick their fingernails.
