Marimekko’s collaboration with Uniqlo created a clothing collection that was a mix of playfulness and elegant timelessness due to the bold and colourful patterns from the Finish design house. This time, Clinique has partnered up with the Marimekko for a collection that is sure to put you in the right mood when you apply your makeup. Both iconic brands were pioneered by women who wanted to empower and encourage women to be bold, unique and positive, so it’s only fitting that the two brands have come together to create such a playful, colourful and beautiful collection.

For the collection, Marimekko chose to use the 10 archival prints created by the late Annika Rimala. She’s known for her inventive use of colour and print for a pop-art feel that conveys a playful spirit and one of the most influential designers of her time.

The collection will roll out with 2 lip products – the new Pop Splash Lip Gloss + Hydration and the iconic Pop Lip Colour + Primer, each in 10 beautiful shades.

The new Pop Splash Lip Gloss + Hydration promises to give you a splash of hydration with this water-light weightless formula that provides over-the-top shine without being too sticky. The glosses are full of nourishing ingredients, such as ultra-hydrating watermelon extract, that will pamper your lips for the perfect pout.

Unfortunately, they are sold empty but you can fill them with Clinique’s Cushion Compact Refill. Alternatively you can just leave it on your dresser as decor – those designs are just so beautiful.
