If there’s one person we can count on to create the next trending manicure in K-beauty, it’s master Eun Kyun Park of Unistella. Towards the end of January, we saw a fresh form of nail art on her Instagram that garnered the attention of many, and now that Seoul Fashion Week is in full force, this trend has resurfaced and is more popular now than ever.

Take a good look at these quirky wire nails.

If that screams your aesthetic, let’s cut to the chase. To create these designs, all you have to do is source out the thinnest, most malleable wire possible and bend them into shapes using a pair of tweezers. Remember to place them on clean, dry nails first to perfect the form and fit of your design. Then, proceed by coating a nail in polish before sticking down the wire design on top of the wet clear or coloured polish.

You gotta work slightly faster with these, because if the nail polish dries before the wire touches it, it’s not gonna hold. It’s a pretty interesting DIY manicure, isn’t it? You’ll have plenty of fun with this one. Or frustration. Because you’ve never done much craftwork with your hands.
